ᛏᚢᚾᛐ · MUND

The verge’s year, without the April panic.

You didn’t choose to become verge for your parent, but the annual report to Statsforvalteren is due on 30 April all the same. Mund is a ledger shaped like that report: log what came in and what went out as it happens, photograph receipts on the spot, tick off bank statements, and in April export a package you can transcribe into Altinn in one sitting.

WHAT IT DOES
A ledger shaped like the report
Income and expenses tagged with the categories the vergerapport asks about, so the year adds itself up the way Statsforvalteren wants to read it.
Receipts as they happen
Photograph a receipt, pick one from Photos or attach a PDF, on the transaction or into an inbox to sort later. Kept for the three years the rules require, with a reminder when that time is up.
A countdown, not a checklist
“47 transactions untagged, 3 months of statements missing, 68 days to the deadline.” The home screen says what is left to do, and reminds you before it is too late.
Export, never submit
In April, Mund produces a summary and the receipt archive for your own transcription into Altinn. The app never sends anything anywhere on its own.
Locked by default
Face ID or your passcode opens the app. The app switcher shows nothing. Receipts and the ledger are stored with iOS file protection, and the person’s national ID number is never entered anywhere.
Yours to take with you
A full backup to Files when you want one, restore on a new phone, and delete the whole mandate when the duty ends. Nothing ever passes through Hoddmímir.
WHO IT IS FOR

Family, not firms.

Around 24,000 people in Norway hold exactly one vergemål, usually for a parent, usually for the first and only time. They have a PDF from Statsforvalteren and a spreadsheet. Mund is for them.

  • One or more mandates on one phone
  • Norwegian first, designed to read at large text sizes
  • No account, no cloud, no analytics
MUND

In Old Norse, mund is the protecting hand. It is the root of formynder.

The app holds the paperwork so you can hold the person.

Mund is in the works.

It is being tested on real mandates before release. If you are a verge and want to try it early, write to us.
